Self-protection

Self-protection is the principle by which BX-System protects its code, its tools, its packages, and its execution context through layered mechanisms that operate before, during, and after execution.

What does BX-System protect?

Its code, its tools, its packages, and its execution context.

How does it protect them?

SHA-256 signing of every tool, AES-GCM encryption of every package, RAM-only execution of core modules, isolated context with immutable snapshots, and a central kill switch.

What is the role of the kill switch?

It stops execution safely. It operates at the cycle boundary to prevent state corruption.

What are immutable snapshots?

They prevent a cycle from mutating state that a previous cycle depends on. They ensure consistency during pause and resume.

How does encryption contribute to protection?

Every package is encrypted with AES-GCM. The package is decrypted in the isolated context and executed without persisting.
