Strategy Weights: How Outcomes Change Behavior
Strategy weights are updated after every verified outcome. A strategy that failed is deprioritized; the code does not change.
What updates the weights?
The reward value computed from a verified outcome. The cognitive memory engine applies the update.
Does the code change?
No. The weights change; the code does not. This is adaptation without reprogramming.
Can a strategy recover?
Yes. New verified evidence can raise a strategy that was previously deprioritized.
Where are the weights applied?
In the cognitive memory engine. The weights guide the kernel in selecting strategies for future cycles.
How does the kernel prevent drift?
A drift without verified evidence would not be produced by the weight update. Only verified outcomes move the weights.
