How to Verify Agent Output
Verification: define the expected outcome, execute the tool, compare actual with expected, record the verdict, update the weights.
What must be defined first?
The expected outcome. Without a defined expectation there is nothing to compare.
What is recorded?
The verdict, the actual outcome, and the reward value derived from the comparison.
What updates after the verdict?
The strategy weights in the cognitive memory engine. A low reward deprioritizes a strategy; a high reward raises it.
Who performs the verification?
The kernel, as part of its cycle. Verification is a defined step, not an optional check.
Is verification subjective?
No. It compares the actual outcome to a defined expected outcome. The comparison is objective and results in a scalar reward.
